Leguigno is the largest fraction of the municipality of Casina and is part of the Matildic castles circuit.
To visit the ancient properties of the Countess Matilde, you can start from Sarzano.
It is located exactly 5 minutes from our structure and is still a castle destination for archaeological studies.
A little further on we find the castle of Canossa which was the main residence of Queen Matilde.
Here in the summer you can attend the medieval re-enactment which represents the coronation of the queen with the participation, in the main roles, of illustrious personalities from the world of entertainment.
A few kilometers away, perfectly intact, the castle of Rossena, militarily conceived to defend the castle of Canossa and well recovered. Entirely visitable together with the adjacent watchtower, called Rossenella.
In the municipality of Carpineti, 15Km from the BeB, you can visit the remains of the Carpinete castle owned by Matilde's ancestors from which you can enjoy a suggestive panorama of the entire Secchia river valley.
Continuing towards Passo del Cerreto, the majesty of the Apennines opens up Tuscan-Emilian in the heart of the Parco del Gigante, where there are many places to visit. Do not forget the Golfarone waterfalls in Villa Minozzo, a destination for daredevil bathers.
Moreover, our structure is 30 km from the cities of Reggio Emilia, Modena and Parma.
50Km from Correggio and 80Km from Zocca, birthplace of Luciano Ligabue and Vasco Rossi.
For the events organized by the Arena Campovolo in Reggio Emilia we also reserve a paid shuttle service for our guests who I want to access the concerts without worries.
